Bruce was the CEO of Eastern Insurance Holding Company from 1997 to 2011 and was the founder of its predecessor company in 1987. Eastern Insurance became a NASDAQ listed company in 2006 in connection with its merger and conversion of of Educators Mutual Life Insurance Company. During his tenure as founder and CEO, Bruce oversaw a multi-state marketing expansion and managed a myriad of initiatives focused on workers’ compensation, environmental reinsurance and captive insurance services.
