Faena Hotel + Universe is within El Porteño Building, a Buenos Aires landmark, built in 1902 with bricks brought from Manchester to store the grains that would cross the ocean to feed the world. At that time, Buenos Aires was the “barn of the world” and also “the Paris of South America”. Conceived to the very last detail by Alan Faena, and designed by Philippe Starck, it features 90 rooms and 83 residences inspired in the stunning glow of the Belle Époque. The first and second floors shelter the Universe, an area that fosters the interaction among guests and visitors. Faena Hotel + Universe began as a dream: to recreate the Belle Époque and bring it back to Buenos Aires, establishing a new way to experience everyday life.
